Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field required.
- 10+ years in aerospace engineering with 5+ years in space vehicle design.
- 5+ years of direct engineering personnel management.
- Experience leading teams, hiring, performance management, and succession planning.
- Proficiency with project management practices and scheduling tools.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and Jira.
Responsibilities
- Lead a multi-disciplined Space Systems team ensuring quality and schedule performance.
- Support professional growth and career development of spacecraft engineers.
- Drive innovation and process improvements in engineering and design practices.
- Collaborate with project, product, and technical leads to define scope and deliverables.
- Manage workload, assignments, support, development, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct one-on-one meetings and quarterly performance reviews.
