Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer Level 2 to support the US Space Force and its mission-critical space operations. You will contribute to development, acquisition, integration, and sustainment of advanced capabilities to strengthen USSF readiness.

The role requires 5+ years of DoD SE experience, a TS clearance with SCI eligibility, and a BS in Systems Engineering. On-site work in Arlington, TX with up to 25% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and concept exploration to evaluate potential system and capability solutions.
• Support DRM engineering and associated system analysis activities.
• Develop and refine CONOPS to support mission and operational requirements.
• Develop and manage system requirements, ICDs, verification plans, and validation activities.
• Perform change management and technical analysis to assess impacts to system requirements, interfaces, schedules, and program objectives.
• Align PPBE with technical efforts across SFPAE-I and SYD 81.
• Support SE activities throughout RDT&E, integration, fielding, and sustainment.
• Collaborate with government, engineering, acquisition, and program stakeholders to deliver systems and capabilities.
