Job summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support USSF OTTI and System Delta 81, contributing to development, integration, and sustainment of advanced test and training capabilities. The role requires DoD SE expertise, space systems knowledge, and collaboration with government stakeholders to ensure mission success.
The position involves on-site work with up to 25% travel, a strong focus on RDT&E, and engagement across multiple DoD program offices in a fast-paced
Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- 10+ years of DoD systems engineering experience.
- Experience with space test and training materiel systems.
- Experience with SE processes and DoDAF/JCIDS.
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies and concept exploration to evaluate system solutions.
- Perform DRM engineering and system analysis.
- Develop and refine CONOPS to support mission requirements.
- Develop and manage system requirements, ICDs, verification plans, and validation activities.
- Perform change management and technical impact assessments.
- Align PPBE activities with technical efforts supporting OTTI.
- Support SE activities through RDT&E, integration, fielding, and sustainment.
- Collaborate with government and stakeholders to deliver capabilities.
