Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support United States Space Force operations and OTTI activities. You will contribute to development, integration, and sustainment of test and training capabilities across Space Systems Command programs.

The candidate should have 10+ years in DoD systems engineering, be proficient with SysML/Cameo, and hold TS clearance eligibility. On-site work with up to 25% travel is required, with collaboration across government and industry

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (as required).
• 10+ years of DoD experience in systems engineering, RDT&E, or related programs.
• Experience with SPOs/PMOs and delivering space test and training materiel systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and concept exploration for system solutions.
• Perform DRM engineering and system analysis.
• Develop CONOPS to support mission requirements.
• Manage system requirements, ICDs, verification plans, and validation activities.
• Assess impacts to interfaces and program objectives.
• Align PPBE with technical efforts for OTTI.
• Support RDT&E, integration, fielding, and sustainment.
• Collaborate with government and stakeholders to deliver systems.
