Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer Level 2 to support the United States Space Force and its mission-critical space operations from our Arlington, VA site.

The role requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance, 5+ years in DoD systems engineering, and experience with SE processes, SysML, and Cameo. Travel up to 25% may be required to support program needs and delivery of systems through DRM, CONOPS, ICDs and system requirements.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• 5+ years of DoD experience in systems engineering, acquisition, RDT&E, or related programs.
• Experience with SPOs/PMOs delivery of systems and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate potential system solutions.
• Support DRM engineering and system analysis activities.
• Develop CONOPS to meet mission requirements.
• Develop and manage system requirements, ICDs, verification plans, and validation activities.
• Perform change management and technical analysis affecting requirements and interfaces.
• Align PPBE activities with technical efforts across SFPAE-I and SYD 81.
• Support SE activities through RDT&E, integration, fielding, and sustainment.
• Collaborate with government, engineering, and program stakeholders to deliver systems.
