Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the United States Space Force and its OTTI program, contributing to test and training capabilities across Space Systems Command. You will collaborate with government and contractor stakeholders to develop requirements, CONOPS, and verification plans in a fast-paced DoD environment.

The role demands 10+ years DoD systems engineering experience, active TS clearance, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 10+ years of DoD experience in systems engineering, RDT&E, or related programs.
• Experience delivering space test and training materiel systems.
• BS in Systems Engineering or related field (required).
• MS/ME/MA in Systems Engineering or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and concept exploration to evaluate system and capability solutions.
• Perform DRM engineering and supporting system analysis.
• Develop and refine CONOPS to support mission and operational requirements.
• Develop and manage system requirements, ICDs, verification plans, and validation activities.
• Perform change management and technical analysis to assess impacts to system requirements, interfaces, and program objectives.
• Align PPBE activities with technical efforts supporting OTTI.
• Support SE activities during RDT&E, integration, fielding, and sustainment.
• Collaborate with government, engineering, acquisition, and program stakeholders.
