Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support US Space Force OTTI initiatives, integrating and sustaining advanced test and training capabilities. The role requires deep SE expertise, DoD experience, and on-site work with travel up to 25%.

The candidate will develop CONOPS, manage requirements and ICDs, and collaborate with government and program stakeholders to deliver mission-critical space system capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 10+ years of DoD experience in systems engineering or related programs.
• Experience delivering to SPOs/PMOs and with RDT&E.
• Familiarity with space system architectures, EO/IR, RF sensors, GNC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and concept exploration for system solutions.
• Perform DRM engineering and system analysis.
• Develop CONOPS to support mission requirements.
• Manage system requirements, ICDs, verification plans, and validation activities.
• Lead change management and analyze impacts to interfaces and objectives.
• Align PPBE activities with technical efforts for OTTI.
• Support SE activities through RDT&E, integration, fielding and sustainment.
• Collaborate with government and contractor stakeholders for delivery.
