Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Universal Documentation Specialist to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) at Vandenberg AFB, California. The role focuses on embedding RCC 501 changes into the Range Planning Tool, creating templates, and coordinating documentation for CDRL items.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree, two years of document/scheduling experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years experience in documentation, scheduling, or organizational management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, TEAMS, Outlook).
• Knowledge of RCC 501-12 Universal Documentation System desired.
• Willingness to work occasional non-duty hours or weekends to support project needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement RCC 501 changes into the Range Planning Tool; may create new templates.
• Coordinate RPS software issues and system errors with department personnel.
• Serve as database manager; advise on archival/removal in SPT.
• Create UDS documents in SPT for prelaunch/launch-related support.
• Troubleshoot StarGate system issues; recommend software changes/upgrades as needed.
• Coordinate CDRL items in WR Planning and Control to meet government submission standards.
• Draft, produce, and distribute Documentation Index monthly.
