Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support the Space Force Range Contract. You will work with the Systems Engineering team to manage and execute processes, assist in requirements management for LTRS, and help develop architectural documents for baselines.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in systems engineering, strong communication, and a willingness to travel occasionally. Clearance eligibility and a valid U.S. driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent.
• 0–2 years in systems engineering or related technical field.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for mission support.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (US citizenship).
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering processes for continuity across SFRC.
• Assist management of LTRS requirements using requirements tools.
• Help develop architectural documents for LTRS baselines.
• Perform architectural analysis from system to component level.
• Support T&E planning, execution, and reporting for LTRS changes.
• Assist in requirements decomposition and allocation.
• Support acquisition docs (SOO, SOW, PWS) and RFPs.
• Provide support for launch operations as needed.
