Job summary

Amentum seeks a Range Systems Section Supervisor for the Space Force Range Contract in the Vandenberg Village area. You will lead O&M teams responsible for data handling and range safety to support critical missions.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or business management and 5+ years of O&M experience with supervisory duties. A Secret clearance (US citizenship required) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in science/engineering/business management.
• 5+ years of experience in operation and maintenance of instrumentation, facilities, and infrastructure with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills for cross-organizational work and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of local/remote environment range missions and equipment manuals/technical orders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to O&M workforce through supervisors and technicians.
• Ensure personnel are trained, qualified, and meet contract/government standards.
• Develop and maintain procedures, performance standards, and documentation; manage deviations via root-cause analysis.
• Schedule and manage personnel to meet contract and mission requirements.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and ensure readiness of infrastructure and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with contract security standards and policies; manage materials and supplies.
• Provide technical advice on operability, maintainability, and planning for new/modified facilities and systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
