Job summary

Vast, a leader in space infrastructure, is seeking a Manufacturing Coordinator for the second shift in Long Beach. You will coordinate tube shop flow, manage materials, and work cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to keep production on schedule.

The role is full-time, on-site in Long Beach. Expect to lift up to 25 lbs, and be ready to work evenings/weekends to meet mission milestones while supporting a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
• Smartsheet experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the flow of tubes hardware and fittings through bending, weld, proof, NDE, Quality operations to maintain schedules.
• Work with manufacturing technicians, engineers, and supply chain to stage materials, components, and tooling.
• Track work order status and hardware readiness to support tube assembly activities.
• Identify and escalate issues impacting production schedules, such as material shortages or documentation gaps.
• Maintain accurate build status in internal tracking tools and systems.
• Ensure proper handling, packaging, and documentation of avionics hardware for downstream handoffs.
