Vast is seeking a Manufacturing Coordinator in Long Beach to oversee the movement of components from purchasing to final assembly, ensuring on-time production flow. The role requires coordinating with multiple teams, managing data accuracy, and escalating blockers as needed.

Full-time, non-exempt position based in Long Beach, CA, with shift options to cover mornings and evenings. Applicants should have at least 2 years in manufacturing and forklift experience, and be prepared to work flexible

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Experience with Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, monitor, and facilitate movement of components to ensure timely progression through Vast locations.
• Coordinate transfer of components across purchasing, receiving inspection, inventory, and work centers.
• Coordinate outside processing of components and liaise with purchasing for timely delivery.
• Support logistics operations by optimizing workflow staging.
• Maintain accuracy of system data with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
• Generate and maintain reports highlighting requirements, milestones, and limitations for stakeholders.
• Escalate issues promptly across platforms to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers on release of runs.
• Follow schedules through effective planning and shortage management.
