Job summary

Vast is seeking a Manufacturing Coordinator, 2nd shift, in Long Beach, CA. You will support Haven-1 manufacturing by coordinating parts flow, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to maintain production momentum.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, ERP/MRP and Smartsheet experience, attention to detail, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends. Competitive salary and full benefits.'

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• 2+ years of Smartsheet usage.
• Highly detail oriented and self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Oversee movement of components to ensure timely progression through manufacturing.
• Coordinate physical transfer of components across stages including purchasing, receiving, inventory, and work centers.
• Coordinate outside processing and liaise with purchasing for timely delivery.
• Support logistics by optimizing workflow staging.
• Maintain system data integrity with Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
• Generate reports on requirements, milestones, and limitations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with schedulers and managers to fulfill action items.
• Escalate part shortages, PO delays and BOM discrepancies.
• Work with engineers on release of runs and follow schedules with shortage management.
