Job summary

Vast seeks a Manufacturing Systems Coordinator in Long Beach, CA to support the development and governance of manufacturing systems. The role focuses on SOPs, documentation, and cross-functional alignment across production teams, with on-site duties in a dynamic, aerospace-inspired environment.

The candidate will maintain Confluence documentation, publish system bulletins, and coordinate communications across departments to ensure adherence to standards and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or production operations.
• Experience creating SOPs and training materials.
• Strong organization and multi-stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work on the factory floor and travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Manufacturing Systems SOPs and guides.
• Manage documentation in Confluence for manufacturing users.
• Create bulletins announcing new Manufacturo features and standards.
• Coordinate bi-weekly cross-functional manufacturing communications.
• Support development and auditing of Manufacturing Systems standards.
• Audit Production Lines and Locations for alignment with standards.
• Coordinate factory structure changes with system owners.
• Communicate data hygiene issues and track corrective actions.
• Support tracking of Manufacturo tickets and visibility of actions.
• Collect and distribute weekly manufacturing performance metrics.
• Consolidate metrics into Monthly Manufacturing Review.
• Maintain dashboards and TVs for performance visibility.
• Identify gaps in understanding and develop training materials.
• Work with production teams to reinforce standards.
