Job summary

Vast, a leader in next‑generation space infrastructure, seeks a Manufacturing Coordinator in Long Beach to support Haven‑1 manufacturing. You will coordinate component movement, align with purchasing, receiving, inventory and work centers, and resolve blockers to maintain production flow.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, ERP/Smartsheet experience, and forklift skills; willingness to work evenings/weekends; lifting up to 25 lbs. Competitive compensation and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• 2+ years of Smartsheet experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends to support critical mission milestones.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee movement of components to ensure timely progression through Vast locations.
• Coordinate transfer across purchasing, receiving, inventory and work centers.
• Coordinate outside processing and liaise with purchasing for timely delivery.
• Support logistics by optimizing workflow staging.
• Maintain system data accuracy with Supply Chain, Eng, and Manufacturing.
• Generate reports on requirements, milestones, and limitations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with schedulers and managers to fulfill action items.
• Escalate part shortages, PO delays, BOM discrepancies to relevant teams.
• Collaborate with engineers on the release of runs.
