Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Test Engineering Intern to support the design, build, and operation of test infrastructure for propulsion and fluids systems from concept to flight. You’ll work with mentors and a fast-paced team to apply engineering concepts and deliver results.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in test platforms, SCADA basics, and qualification campaigns while developing professionally through regular check-ins and technical talks.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in an engineering discipline and have at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project work) is applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support test infrastructure design, build, and operation for propulsion and fluids systems.
• Work with mentors to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend 1:1s with mentors and track progress and learning.
• Engage in technical talks and intern networking events.
