Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Propulsion Intern to join our Long Beach site. You’ll support the Archimedes engine development and operation for the Neutron launch vehicle, collaborating with Neutron teams, Stennis testing, and vehicle operations.

You will work closely with a mentor and a small, high-performing team to apply engineering knowledge and grow professionally, gaining hands-on experience in propulsion concepts and subsystem integration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing aerospace/mechanical engineering; at least one semester remaining.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities

• Work with mentors to grow technical and professional skills.
• Apply engineering concepts to solve real challenges in a fast-paced team.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to track progress.
• Participate in tech talks and intern networking events.
