Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to design and implement efficient production systems for BE-4/BE-3U engines. You will translate engineering requirements into repeatable processes, ensure quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet demanding spaceflight timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field from an accredited university.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing engineering role (level 2) or 5+ years (level 3) or 8+ years Sr.
• 1+ years creating English work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to DFM/ DFA/ DFT to build reliable spaceflight vehicles.
• Translate engineering requirements into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design engineering, QA, supply chain and production to accelerate space builds.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions and inspection plans.
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies (machining, welding, brazing, additive manufacturing).
• Support root cause analysis of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure work meets AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Participate in process FMEAs and validation of new production lines.
• Apply AI technologies to optimize processes and improve first-time quality.
