Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Huntsville, AL to design, implement, and optimize production systems for BE-4/BE-3U engines. You will develop robust manufacturing processes, create work instructions, and collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain teams to improve throughput and reliability.

The role emphasizes design for manufacturability, process validation, and adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies to support space exploration timelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in a manufacturing engineering role: (0-3 years Level 1 Manufacturing Engineer, 3+ years Level 2 Manufacturing Engineer, 5+ years Level 3 Manufacturing Engineer, 8+ years Sr Manufacturing Engineer)
• 1+ years of experience creating English work instructions

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design for manufacturability (DFM), DFA, DFT for reliable space vehicles.
• Translate engineering requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design engineering, QA, supply chain, and production to accelerate space vehicle builds.
