Job summary

Muon Space is offering a summer Legal Intern role, fully remote, May–September. Open to 1Ls and 2Ls with no prior space-law experience required. You will work with the Legal team on regulatory policy, government contracts, and export controls while gaining hands-on exposure to commercial space law.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a J.D. program; 1Ls and 2Ls welcome.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping
