Job summary

Muon Space is offering a summer legal internship for 1Ls and 2Ls from May to September, full-time and remote. Interns will work with our Legal team on licensing, government contracting, export controls, and regulatory policy while gaining hands-on exposure to commercial space law and regulatory matters.

You'll build regulatory matrices, assist with research on agreements, and support filings and corporate projects under experienced attorneys and regulatory specialists in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome).
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures.
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations.
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping.
