Job summary

Muon Space offers a summer internship for law students, with fully remote, full-time hours between May and September. Open to 1Ls and 2Ls with no prior space-law experience required, the role exposes interns to licenses, government contracts, and export compliance while working with experienced attorneys.

Responsibilities include building regulatory matrices, supporting commercial agreements, and conducting regulatory research to produce clear summaries and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome)
• Strong research and writing skills
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export‑compliance recordkeeping
