Muon Space, Inc. is offering a remote summer Legal Intern role in Illinois with a May–September timeframe.

Open to 1Ls and 2Ls, no prior space-law experience required, you will work closely with experienced attorneys on commercial space law, regulatory policy, and government contracts. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to licensing, export controls, and regulatory projects across the satellite lifecycle, including matters for NOAA and the U.S.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a JD program; 1Ls and 2Ls welcome.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn.
• Interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
• Able to work remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices for licenses and reporting.
• Support contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements research and admin tasks.
• Conduct legal and market research; synthesize into summaries.
• Assist with filings, process docs, export-compliance recordkeeping.
