Job summary

Muon Space invites a Legal Intern for a remote, full-time summer role. 1Ls and 2Ls are encouraged to apply with no prior space-law experience required. You will work directly with experienced attorneys, gaining exposure to satellite licensing, contracts, and export controls while contributing to real projects.

You will support regulatory research, document preparation, and administrative tasks across commercial and government contracting in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a J.D. program with 1Ls/2Ls welcome.
• Strong research and writing skills are essential.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented individuals who can learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices tracking license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures.
• Support the Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations.
• Assist with filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping as needed.
