Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is offering a full-time remote Legal Intern position for 1Ls and 2Ls to gain hands-on experience in commercial space law, regulatory policy, and government contracts.

You'll work with experienced attorneys, contribute to licensing matters, and support NDAs and vendor agreements. This internship is designed to expose you to space-related regulatory issues and export controls while you collaborate with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome).
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping
