Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking a student engineer intern to work closely with mentors, applying engineering and industry concepts to real challenges, and to advance technical and professional skills during a minimum 12-week, on-site internship. You’ll be exposed to hands-on tasks and a collaborative team environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing engineering, physics or math degrees with a 3.0+ GPA, and have 3+ months of applied experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics or math program with at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• At least 3 months of applied engineering experience (internships, labs or projects).

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering concepts to real challenges in a fast-paced setting.
• Work with mentors to develop and lead development projects.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver results and learn from hands-on tasks.
• Attend regular 1:1s and participate in technical talks and events.
