Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Thermal Engineering Intern for its Long Beach, California site. You will join a fast-paced team supporting spacecraft thermal systems from concept through flight, collaborating with GNC and mechanical teams to deliver efficient thermal solutions.

You must be enrolled in an engineering/physics/math degree with at least one semester remaining, maintain GPA 3.0+, and have 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project work).
• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline and have at least one semester remaining post internship.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a mentor and department to apply engineering concepts.
• Contribute to solving real thermal challenges in spacecraft production.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to track progress.
