Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, California is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to work with design, production and quality teams to develop and qualify processes to make rocket engines during a 12-week on-site internship. You will learn through mentorship, apply engineering concepts to real challenges, and participate in tech talks and events with peers.

Qualified students must be enrolled in a bachelor’s program in engineering, physics or math with at least one semester remaining and a 3.0

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project work).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mentors and department colleagues to apply engineering knowledge and grow skills.
• Contribute to solving real challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors to track progress and learning.
• Participate in tech talks and intern networking events.
