Job summary

Rocket Lab USA in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to contribute to the Space Systems Division and support assembly, integration, and test sequences. You will be part of a small, high-performing team focused on learning and development.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math program with at least one semester remaining post-internship, a GPA of 3.0+, and 3+ months of applied engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree program in engineering, physics or math and have at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab or project work)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with mentors and department members to apply knowledge and grow technically and professionally.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced group to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors to discuss progress and learning while providing updates.
• Participate in tech talks and intern/network events
