Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL is seeking Engines Manufacturing Engineers of all levels to design and implement efficient manufacturing systems for BE-4 and BE-3U engines. You will translate engineering requirements into repeatable processes and work with design, QA, supply chain, and production to improve throughput while meeting AS9100/ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 0–3 years (Level 1), 3+ (Level 2), 5+ (Level 3), 8+ (Sr) manufacturing/process engineering experience.
• Experience creating work instructions and documentation.
• Ability to work second shift and flexibility to move shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for manufacturability and for test to enable reliable space engines.
• Translate requirements into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design, QA, supply chain and production teams to accelerate assembly.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing docs, including work instructions and process flows.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances.
