Job summary

Blue Origin is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer at the Huntsville, AL site. You will lead design-for-manufacturability, DFx activities, and tie together design, QA, and supply chain to ensure high-quality production of BE-4/BE-3U engines.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing engineering with aerospace/defense exposure, strong documentation skills, and the ability to implement new manufacturing technologies to improve throughput and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering field; manufacturing exp preferred.
• Experience leading manufacturing engineering projects and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to create clear work instructions and assemble process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for manufacturability (DFM), DFA, DFT for space hardware.
• Translate engineering requirements into repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design, QA, supply chain and production to reduce costs and cycles.
