Job summary

Linc Research Inc. seeks an EMC-focused Electrical Engineer in its Space division. The role centers on EMC analysis, requirement definition, test planning, and circuit testing for aerospace/space hardware applications. Candidates should have strong experience with EMI/ESD/grounding and related test methods.

The position requires advanced degrees (PhD/MS/BS with extensive experience) and U.S. citizenship with STAR ID, and offers on-site work in Huntsville with a full-time exempt status.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering required.
PhD with 4+ years, MS with 8+ years, or BS with 10-15 years experience required.
Familiarity with MIL-STD-461, -462, -464 or equivalent required.
U.S. citizen and STAR ID required.
Proficiency with MATLAB, Excel; excellent organizational and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

Provide EMC analysis, requirement definition, test planning, and circuit test/analysis.
Evaluate test data and waivers related to EMI, ESD, corona, grounding, bonding and wiring.
Prepare inputs or assist in development of requirement verification, and trade study reports/packages.
