Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Seattle is seeking an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer II to lead EMI/EMC verification across avionics and power systems. You will design test plans, perform MIL-STD-461G tests (CE101/CE102/CS101/CS114/CS115/CS116/RE101/RE102/RS101/RS103) and generate formal pass/fail reports for spaceflight hardware.

The role requires hands-on EMI testing, fault isolation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, robustness, and repeatable spaceflight

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on EMC/EMI testing experience across MIL-STD-461 CE/CS/RE/RS."
• Proficiency with EMI test automation software and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine EMI/EMC test plans and procedures for avionics and power systems.
• Execute the full MIL-STD-461 test suite and document results with spectral plots, margins, and traceability.
• Troubleshoot EMI issues to component level and recommend corrective actions.
