Job summary

Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) seeks an EMC Engineer to support E3 activities for RF and GN&C space hardware. The role requires deep EMC analysis, test planning, and circuit testing with aerospace experience.

Candidate should have MIL-STD familiarity, strong MATLAB/HFSS/FEKO skills, and the ability to prepare inputs for documentation and verification. US citizenship and STAR ID are required for program access.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Science from an ABET-accredited institution; Ph.D. with minimum 14 years, MS with 18+ years, or BS with 20–25+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-461, -462, -464 or equivalent specifications.
• Proficiency with common operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Must be a US Citizen and have a STAR ID.

Responsibilities

• Provide EMC engineering support to the E3/GN&C and Space Systems teams for aerospace/avionics hardware.
• Perform EMC analysis, test planning, and circuit testing/analysis.
• Contribute to project documentation, requirement verification/validation, and trade studies.
• Present findings and support engineering reviews with NASA facilities.
