The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our Spa team and support the guest-centric vision of our luxury property on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.

As a spa desk specialist, you will uphold Peninsula and Forbes standards, coordinate with hotel departments, and ensure smooth operation of spa front desk activities while delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Qualifications

• 2 years of reception or spa desk experience in luxury property.
• Knowledge of PMS/Opera.
• Ability to handle high work demand and pressure with strong organization.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of Spa desk responsibilities.
• Adhere to Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Maintain consistency in performance with Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest-centric experience.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure proper operation of all responsibilities of Spa desk operations
• Knowledgeable and fully adheres to both Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with both Peninsula and Forbes standards
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest centric experience
• Be in full compliance with Head Office database requirements
• Ensure efficient operation of the Spa Desk responsibilities with efficient handover

General Requirements:

• 2 years of reception or spa desk experience in luxury property ideal
• Knowledge of PMS/Opera and some knowledge in rooms department preferred
• Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English

To be considered for the position, you must have work authorization in the United States. The pay rate for this role is $26.79 per hour.
