Job summary

Salternative Spa seeks a friendly Front Desk Spa Associate to create a welcoming, organized and relaxing guest experience. The role involves greeting guests, checking in/out, guiding them through the spa, handling inquiries, scheduling, and processing payments.

You will also support with events, restocking, cleaning, and maintaining a high standard of guest service throughout shifts. Training will be provided to support growth.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome every guest upon arrival.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and professionally.
• Walk and guide guests throughout the spa to lockers, treatment rooms, and lounges.
• Explain the spa experience and help new guests feel comfortable and informed.
• Answer phone calls, emails and guest enquiries.
• Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments accurately.
• Learn and confidently use our booking, payment and spa systems.
• Process payments, gift cards, memberships and retail purchases.
• Assist with rebooking and recommending services, memberships and products.
• Communicate with therapists and staff to keep the day running smoothly.
• Monitor the daily schedule and prepare for upcoming appointments.
• Reset and clean guest areas after each client as needed.
• Continually clean and tidy across the spa during shifts.
• Restock towels, robes, slippers, refreshments and other supplies.
• Assist with laundry, folding and general organisation when needed.
• Help with events and group bookings when required.
• Warmly welcome event guests and keep groups on schedule.
