Job summary

Mayflower Inn & Spa, Auberge Collection in Washington, CT, seeks a Spa Boutique Retail Attendant to oversee daily operations of the spa and hotel retail boutique, delivering a truly luxe guest experience while managing inventory and sales performance.

You will maintain displays, process purchases, handle cash, and ensure security and service standards, working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or hospitality education preferred.
• Minimum one year of luxury retail, spa, hospitality, or boutique experience.
• Minimum one year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Welcome guests warmly and provide personalized assistance with boutique merchandise and spa products; anticipate guest needs and recommend products.
• Retail & Boutique Operations: Maintain displays, ensure full stock and correct pricing; process purchases, returns, refunds, exchanges; manage cash drawer balances and daily reconciliations.
• Inventory Management: Receive, verify, and document shipments; conduct routine counts; maintain inventory records; coordinate with Spa Director on purchasing; assist with visual merchandising.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure policy compliance, safety, and luxury standards; report accidents or maintenance concerns; protect confidential information and keep boutique organized.
