Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Southwest Regional Resources Marketing Services Manager to lead proposal teams, drive win strategies, and coordinate marketing resources across multiple California locations including Irvine and Folsom.

You will supervise proposal managers and marketing coordinators, manage workload, and engage with clients to develop long-term growth plans while maintaining HDR’s standards for quality and competitive messaging.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the A/E/C industry or related field.
• Self-starter with a proven track record of delivering projects with limited oversight.
• Deep knowledge of procurement of professional services in A/E/C.
• Ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign).
• Willingness to travel and engage with others in-person.
• Experience winning high-value contracts and crafting compelling content from technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Retain, develop and supervise proposal managers and marketing coordinators.
• Manage workload demands of proposal managers and marketing coordinators.
• Lead pursuit teams in creating win strategies and project capture planning.
• Engage marketing services, operational, and technical resources in pursuits.
• Partner with leadership to identify business development needs and drive strategies.
• Lead quality reviews of proposal and interview materials.
