Job summary

Insight seeks a Regional Architect Manager to lead a ~10-person Solutions Architects team in the Southeast U.S. You will blend hands-on solution design with people leadership, guiding presales across five infrastructure domains.

You will report to the Regional Architect Director and partner with regional Sales, MDE, and GTM leaders to accelerate pipeline while delivering architecturally sound, business-focused outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in technology solutions, IT architecture, or presales engineering.
• 5+ years of leadership experience, including building and managing technical presales or solutions architecture teams.
• Proven track record of supporting complex, multi-million-dollar services and solutions engagements in a consultative selling environment.
• Deep technical expertise across two or more of the following domains: Cloud, Compute & Storage; Security; Managed Services; AI & Automation; Networking, IoT & Edge.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Solutions Architects in the Southeast region.
• Define resource allocation and coverage strategies to align presales capacity with regional demand.
• Develop career paths, technical certification strategies, and skills roadmaps.
• Conduct performance reviews, readiness assessments, and coaching sessions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Partners to drive proposals and customer outcomes.
• Own the presales technical strategy and ensure commercially viable solutions for client engagements.
• Travel across the Southeast to support teams and engage with clients.
• Collaborate with Delivery and Partner teams to ensure smooth handoffs and co-sell motions.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends and drive innovation within the team.
