Job summary

Purple Wave Auction is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to cover Southeast Minnesota and surrounding counties. You will build trust with farmers, fleet managers, contractors, and business leaders while promoting our online auction services across the region.

The role emphasizes in-field prospecting, relationship development, and end-to-end auction process support with a focus on growth, ethical conduct, and customer satisfaction. Travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) years successful sales experience.
• Ability to travel extensively when required.
• Knowledge of construction, agriculture, fleet, and government industries.
• Ability to utilize various technologies, tools, and systems to gather and share information electronically.
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative in making deals happen.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent people skills and ability to maintain high ethical standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and potential customers to increase Purple Wave's visibility and brand recognition.
• Educate and inform clients within the assigned territory of the equipment auction services and how to sell or buy used equipment.
• Gather and enter customer information and opportunities in CRM to maintain communication.
• Ensure successful execution and support of all phases of the auction process.
• Represent the company to heavy equipment owners, buyers, and sellers.
• Raise awareness of upcoming auctions through equipment promotion and inventory packages.
• Manage buyer and seller relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Respond to inbound sales inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and events to promote services, auctions, and assets.
• Undertake additional assigned duties as requested.
