Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-3 years sales experience, preferably in hotels.
• Knowledge of local association and corporate business.
• College degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communications with accountability.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, sell, book and contract for hotels and TSJ-managed facilities.
• Generate room nights within target market.
• Lead generation & follow-up for small/short term meetings.
• Review action plans and PPOs.
• Attend and participate in sales training as scheduled.
• Serve as an Ambassador at all required functions locally, regionally and nationally.
• Update, audit, and manage accounts in SimpleView with compliance.
• Coordinate and conduct site inspections as necessary.
• Work with other managers to assist with booking groups.
• Meet as scheduled to review goals and provide updates.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with partner hotels.
• Attend industry meetings, conventions, and trade shows.
