Job summary

Hilton San Jose is seeking an experienced On-Property Senior Sales Manager to lead group sales efforts for the property. The role focuses on driving revenue, overseeing the full sales cycle, and delivering standout hospitality experiences for clients and guests.

You will manage client relationships, develop strategic plans, and collaborate with hotel departments to ensure flawless execution of contracted services, while also mentoring the sales team to achieve peak performance.

Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel to prospective clients: primary contact for group rooms, meeting space, and F&B services
• Drive new business opportunities by responding to inquiries, outreach, qualifying leads, and soliciting clients
• Manage full sales cycle: site visits, entertaining clients, proposals, rate determinations, contract negotiations, and account servicing
• Develop strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and room night goals
• Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion and competitiveness
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill contracted services and ensure client satisfaction
• Supervise and coach team members to foster a productive work environment
