Team San Jose is seeking a National Sales Manager to drive citywide and target-market bookings through strategic planning and direct selling. The role emphasizes relationship-building with hotels, CVBs, and partners to meet room-night and revenue goals.

You will review action plans with the Director of Sales quarterly, participate in trade shows, and act as a City Ambassador at events. Travel will be required to support territory demands.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in hotels, convention centers, CVB, or city-wide sales.
• Strong knowledge of Northeast corporate and association business preferred.
• CMP and/or other industry designations desired.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Travel required based on territory and business demands.

Responsabilidades

• Sell and contract for target markets through strategic planning and direct selling.
• Achieve or exceed room night and revenue goals within target market.
• Review action plans with the Director of Sales quarterly or as needed.
• Attend tradeshows and events to ensure market penetration.
• Participate in sales training as necessary and coordinate with hotel partners.
• Maintain relationships with hotel partners and manage accounts in sales systems.
• Document communications and activities with monthly standards for calls and entertainment.
• Conduct site inspections as necessary and coordinate with other sales managers.
