Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking an Account Executive for the South Florida region to drive profitable and aggressive sales growth in owner direct and plan/spec markets. You will build and maintain relationships with end users, contractors, and engineers while leading proposals and pricing negotiations.

The role requires 5+ years in building automation sales, the ability to read drawings, and strong CRM and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Automation or Fire/Security owner direct and/or plan & spec sales.
• 5+ years in building automation sales with disciplined account management.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.
• Understanding of HVAC systems and controls applications.
• CRM usage for pipeline and activity management; MS Office proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with end users, contractors, engineers, owner accounts, and ESCOs.
• Assist engineers with design/specification of control system applications.
• Estimate material, labor, and subcontractor costs for projects.
• Coordinate with Operations to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Prepare scopes of work and proposals for engineers to communicate value.
• Set meetings, identify opportunities, and negotiate pricing and scope.
• Provide sales leadership for new installations and service offerings.
• Attend meetings and training; team sell with other executives.
• Aim to achieve annual revenue and gross margin targets.
