Job summary

Eurest is seeking a Sous Chef in Cincinnati, OH to lead the Culinary Department, assist with supervision, preparation, and cooking, and help develop daily menus with the Executive Chef. You will oversee daily operations and ensure quality and presentation across all meals.

The role focuses on coordinating catering events, improving menu items, and supporting high-volume foodservice with emphasis on cost control and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary field.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience preferred.
• Catering experience a plus.
• High-volume, complex foodservice operations experience desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food, catering trends, sanitation, and food cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Executive Chef with cost controls and expenditures for the account.
• Assists in planning and creating menus.
• Produces and executes catering events; rolls out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team.
