Job summary

Eurest, a Compass Group brand, seeks a Sous Chef to oversee the Culinary Department of a facility and support the Executive Chef in menu development, cost controls, and catering execution. You will supervise hourly staff and collaborate on menu innovation and ordering.

This role offers opportunities to develop new culinary programs and contribute to high-quality corporate dining experiences.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook

Responsibilities

• Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
• Assists the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
• Produces and execute catering events
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
