Kansas State University Greek House Chefs is seeking a Sous Chef 2 to assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations at the Manhattan, KS location. You will help with meal preparation, seasoning, and quality control, and manage stock and staff when the Executive Chef is away.

Responsibilities include supervising the kitchen team, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring FIFO rotation while upholding health and safety standards for events and regular service.

Qualifications

• Assists the Executive Chef with daily kitchen activities, menu prep, and quality control.
• Keeps food quality and freshness by following designated tasks and duties.
• Manages ordering, stocking, and FIFO rotation.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead kitchen team in the chef's absence.
• Oversee and organize stock and ingredients when Exec isn’t present.
• Ensure proper dating and organization of all food products.
• Prepare and present dishes that meet restaurant standards.
