Job summary

COREcruitment seeks a skilled Sous Chef for a new opening in San Francisco, CA. You will support the head chef in daily kitchen operations and uphold top quality, presentation, and high-volume execution.

Ideal candidates bring proven culinary leadership, strong food-cost discipline, inventory control, and hands-on training abilities to build a premier kitchen from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar culinary leadership role.
• Full-service restaurant experience, ideally Italian or Mediterranean.
• Comfortable working in a chef-driven, high-quality environment.
• Strong understanding of food cost, inventory and kitchen operations.
• Hands-on approach with a passion for quality and consistency.
• New opening experience is a plus, but not required.

We’re partnered with an exciting chef-driven full-service restaurant concept opening in San Francisco and are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join the opening team.

This is a great opportunity for a strong culinary leader who wants to be part of building a kitchen from the ground up and working closely with an experienced Chef.

What You’ll Be Doing
