Job summary

BB Imaging, a physician-partnered ultrasound provider, is seeking OB/GYN sonographers to join a purpose-driven, supportive team. You will perform ultrasound procedures, travel to clinic sites, review patient data, and generate reports to assist physicians in diagnosing fetal and maternal conditions.

You will work in a sonographer-led community with continuous training, mentorship, and a path for long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN.
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, and lab results.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to the physician.
• Provide guidance to complete procedures with quality imagery.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies.
• Continue CMEs to expand knowledge.

What You’ll Do

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU?

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 1+ years OB/GYN sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
