Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer to join a patient-centered, sonographer-led team providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound across multiple clinic sites.

The role involves performing procedures, reviewing charts, and collaborating with physicians to ensure precise documentation and findings. Travel within the assigned area is required, with growth opportunities and ongoing CMEs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty.
• 1+ years high-risk OB and/or MFM sonography experience.
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN.
• HIPAA compliance with EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Provide guidance for amniocentesis.
• Maintain quality machines and imagery; note machine errors.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies.
• Pursue CMEs to increase knowledge of diseases and procedures.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU?

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
